<p>This class will work on the fundamentals of acting, while working to create their own piece of theatre all on their own. This is a great warmup to our mainstage productions, but also another way to expand imaginations and just have fun creating.</p>

<p>Get ready to laugh and to have some fun! Improvisation refers to the theatre that is created in the moment, and therefore is unplanned and does not have a script. Improv allows us to create characters, storyline, and laughs, all at the drop of a hat.</p>

<p>Kids will shape, glaze, and finish their own pieces—like hamsas, treasure boxes, and more—while learning new skills each week. Artists will take home their completed projects, perfect as keepsakes or Hanukkah gifts.</p>
<p>Prerequisite skills include: 1) swimming 150 yds; tread for 2 minutes with only legs; swim 50 yds; 2) Swim 20 yds; retrieve 10 lb wt from 7-10 ft, return to surface on back holding weight, face at surface, exit without ladder or steps.<br />
