Overview
The Jewish calendar is rich with tradition and meaning. For thousands of years, the Jewish community has come together to celebrate moments of joy and remember times of loss. The J proudly serves as a destination for the community to gather for engaging events and programs throughout the year.
During fall, winter and spring, we invite all ages to join us at the J as we celebrate the Jewish holidays of Sukkot, Chanukah, Purim, and Shavuot. We also offer programs designed for families with young children including Hands on Holidays, Babies, Books & Bagels, and Shabbat events at the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC.
Programs
ContAct UsGrounded in holiday food and Jewish tradition, children grades K-3 will cook up favorites and add their own twist. Students will learn basic cooking and safety skills while feeding their bodies and souls. They will take home their tasty treat, a bite of fun Jewish wisdom and a written version of their recipe.

Join us for a fabulous interactive holiday celebrations full of song! This special program also includes a bagel breakfast, a special holiday themed take home craft, and a chance to connect with both old and new friends. Perfect for ages 5 and under.
