Weinberg Park Heights JCC
Looking for a creative indoor activity to do with friends or children? Drop into Happy Glaze, our popular paint-your-own ceramics studio. Select a ceramics items from our large stock of various items for kids and adults. We supply the paints, brushes, stencils…everything you need. After you paint and glaze your item, we will fire it in our kiln and it will be ready for pick up in 1-2 weeks. Walk-ins welcome or pre-register online.

Weinberg Park Heights JCC
One of the goals of creative writing is to describe the world we see. Much like an artist who views his world with a brush, we paint our pictures with a pen or a keyboard. Whatever your level – reporter, freelancer, personal writer, novice – this workshop will open doors in your mind and help you kick up your writing proficiency a few notches. Class includes four leader-facilitated and four group collaboration sessions.

Scrapbooking is an art that does not always come in the form of a book but transforms memories into fun, creative, visual expressions.
Get ready to laugh with intro to improvisational acting class. In this class, participants will learn tactics such as active listening and the term “yes and”. You will work on how to flex your spontaneous creativity to help create these imaginative spaces with one another through warmups, theatre games, basic and short form scene work, and more. Taught in a cooperative and all-inclusive atmosphere, there is no need for prior experience on the stage or in an acting class—novices and seasoned entertainers alike will join in the fun.
