Discover the joy of working with clay in our adult pottery classes! Explore both hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques as you create functional and sculptural pieces. Learn foundational skills such as slab, coil, and pinch construction, as well as surface decoration and glazing to add color, pattern, and texture to your work. Whether you’re brand new to clay or looking to expand your skills, our supportive studio environment encourages creativity, experimentation, and fun. Each class provides hands-on instruction, allowing you to move at your own pace while developing confidence with the medium.

Join us as for an introductory 4-week course as we explore journaling, dialogue writing, memoir, and other creative writing practices—with the goal of self-discovery. Research shows that approaching reflection through creative writing allows us to explore relationships, goals, and memories with fresh insight and understanding.

You don’t need to consider yourself a writer to participate. This is a relaxed environment designed for adults who want to use creative expression as a tool for personal growth and self-exploration. Healthy snacks will be served.

Rochel Naiman brings over 30 years of experience teaching writing in our community, at a wide range of levels. Most recently, she completed coursework with the Professional Writing Academy of London in facilitating reflective and therapeutic writing groups.

Looking for a creative indoor activity to do with friends or children? Drop into Happy Glaze, our popular paint-your-own ceramics studio. Select a ceramics items from our large stock of various items for kids and adults. We supply the paints, brushes, stencils…everything you need. After you paint and glaze your item, we will fire it in our kiln and it will be ready for pick up in 1-2 weeks. Walk-ins welcome or pre-register online.
