We asked our Middle School Leadership Council members to share some thoughts about this fantastic program.

Ross C: An extroverted introvert and cat lover who attends Krieger Scheckter Day School. Ross has been involved with the JCC for 11 years.
Will B. : 8th grade soccer player from Gilman School. Will has been involved with the JCC since preschool.
Mary F.: is a part of the Drama Club at Sacred Heart School and plays both violin and piano. She has been involved with the JCC since 1st grade.

Why should someone become involved with MSLC?
Ross C. : They like speaking and are nice to be around, just nice overall.
Will B.: To have fun being a part of the Jewish Community.
Mary F.: You will make a lot of new friends.
What is the most important thing you have learned from MSLC?
Ross C.: How to talk loudly and not fear being judged.
Will B.: How to be a part of the Jewish Community.
Mary F.: You can always ask for help.
What is your favorite thing about MSLC?
Ross C.: You have the opportunity to speak your mind.
Will B.: I like the teamwork, friendship, bonding, (and) being Jewish.
Mary F.: The retreat is one of my favorites.
If you could describe MSLC in one word, what would it be?
Ross C.: Likeable.
Will B.: Community, (here) you can be a part of the community.
Mary F.: Community. Everyone here is very sweet and accepting.
If you could choose one famous teen to join MSLC, who would you choose and why?
Ross C.: Aiven Relles, because he has some different but important views.
Will B.: Dr. Doofenschmirtz because he has a Jewish sounding last name.
Mary F.: Millie Bobby Brown. She is a very inspirational person, and she would help a lot with planning.
