Group Fitness

From Cardiovascular to Strength Training to Mind & Body, we have it all for the best workout.

    We are pleased to offer numerous Indoor, Outdoor and Virtual Group Fitness classes each day.

    Please note:

    • Live-streamed and pre-recorded virtual classes are available exclusively to members on our password protected portal learn more at jcc.org/virtual-j-members-only. No reservations required!
    • Outdoor Group Fitness classes are available on our Owings Mills campus at our new Bearman Outdoor Wellness Studio under the tent in our Aquatics Park. Rooftop classes are also available Mon-Thurs. nights at our Park Heights facility.

    Class Reservations
    Effective July 1, 2021
    Reservations will only be required for the following classes:BODYPUMP™, BODYSTEP™, CXWORX™, GRIT™ , Strength Xpress, Shockwave and Cycling.

    JCC MASK POLICY
    Effective July 2021
    Masks are optional at both facilities for all vaccinated members and staff. Mask are recommended for any unvaccinated individual, including children ages 2+, when indoors and when in close proximity to others outdoors.

    Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC

    Indoor classes are held in our group fitness studio and dance studio. Cycling classes are now in the Cycling Studio.
    Outdoor classes may remain outside when its raining. They will move indoors when storming.
    Check-in for indoor classes is at our main entrance. Check in for outdoors classes is at our Aquatics Park. 

    Weinberg Park Heights JCC

    Indoor classes are held in our group fitness studio, NRG Studio, Studio One and Cyling Studio. Rooftop classes will be moved to our gymnasium during inclement weather.

    Group Fitness Details

    When you join the JCC, you will receive two complimentary Welcome Workout sessions to familiarize you with our amenities and make sure you are comfortable with your fitness goals. Then we set you free to explore a world of group fitness classes and workout options.

    The J’s trained and certified group fitness instructors are experts in creating an experience that will encourage you to kick it up a notch, all while keeping a smile on your face. The group classes offer a social, supportive and motivational atmosphere, no matter your fitness level or experience.

    Group fitness classes at the J focus on everything from Cardiovascular to Strength Training to Mind & Body, so your heart, abs, and chi will be thanking you soon enough.
