Covid-19 - Group Fitness Update

    We are pleased to offer numerous Group Fitness classes each day during these challenging times.

    Our Virtual Classes are free to the community and are fed through our website. They are available live and through our video archive at jcc.org/virtual-j-group-fitness-classes.

    Our in-person classes are available to Members only. To participate all members must preregister at jcc.org/group-fitness-schedule.  

    JCC MASK POLICY- PLEASE READ 
    Masks must be worn indoors at all times on our campus, except when actively engaging in vigorous exercise - as per rules set up by the Baltimore County and City Health Departments.  

    Masks must cover your nostrils and your mouth and must be worn at these locations:

    • Outdoors near our Check-In tents and while moving around our grounds at the Aquatics Park, including to/from Outdoor Group Fitness, Tennis, Lap Swimming and Family Pool time.
    • Indoors when walking through our buildings,  in the Fitness Center when walking around, before and after a Group Fitness class.

    Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC

    Outdoor classes are located under a tent on Tennis Court #4. You can access these by entering at our Aquatics Park entrance. Indoor classes are available in our Group Fitness studio. Check-in for indoor classes is at the main entrance, by the Sapolsky Circle.

    Weinberg Park Heights JCC

    We will be offering indoor classes in a separated half of our gymnasium and in Studio 1 starting August 2, 2020. Outdoor Group Fitness classes in the evenings on our rooftop court are coming soon. Check-in will be at the main entrance.

    Group Fitness

    When you join the JCC, you will receive two complimentary Welcome Workout sessions to familiarize you with our amenities and make sure you are comfortable with your fitness goals. Then we set you free to explore a world of group fitness classes and workout options.

    The J’s trained and certified group fitness instructors are experts in creating an experience that will encourage you to kick it up a notch, all while keeping a smile on your face. The group classes offer a social, supportive and motivational atmosphere, no matter your fitness level or experience.

    Group fitness classes at the J focus on everything from Cardiovascular to Strength Training to Mind & Body, so your heart, abs, and chi will be thanking you soon enough.
