What year did you start at the J?
2022
What do you like the most about working at the J?
Prior to most recently joining the JCC, I worked in Marketing for The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore for 7.5 years. The work is very similar so it was a very easy transition. Before that, I was a Business Manager at a local children’s theatre. When my children were younger I taught Baby & Me classes a the JCC for about 9 years.
What special skills are you most proud of OR What do you love to do in your free time?
I have a theater degree as well and started performing at the age of 11. I’ve performed locally (even at the JCC many years ago) in various shows at theaters and dinner theaters, movies, radio spots, and even at Paramount’s Kings Dominion and Universal Studios in Florida. I studied voice professionally for a number of years as well.
What is something interesting about your family (pets included)?
My husband is Senior Director of Communications for the University of Maryland Medial System, my oldest son (recent graduate from Towson University) is a Marketing Manager at Coppermine and my youngest is a current student at UMD studying Sports Journalism – so our entire family is all in similar fields. My sons also grew up at the JCC and playing tennis, including teaching the sport they love. We currently have 2 rescue dogs named Poe and Camden, helping us show support for our local sports teams.
