Created by the Women’s Sports Foundation, this award-winning program features weekly themed discussions about important issues facing young women, including nutrition, dealing with difficult feelings, confidence building, and more.
Girls will participate in fun physical team-building activities, learn new skills and play sports with local fitness experts and female college athletes. Participants will train to walk/run as a team in the Annual JCN 5K race.
Registration opens January 2023.

According to the CDC, there are an estimated 1.7 to 3.8 million traumatic brain injuries each year in the United States, affecting athletes in both contact and non-contact sports. Please join us as Dr. Gaertner, from the Sports Medicine Institute, dives into the current science and information regarding concussions and their potential consequences.

The month of February is dedicated to heart health as a reminder to pause and reflect on cardiovascular disease, including stroke, heart attacks and hypertension. Dr. Harfouch, Interventional Cardiologist, will share information on these critical issues and more. We’ll also receive cooking tips via a heart healthy cooking demonstration given by the American Heart Association’s, Chef Stephanie.
