What are you most excited about your position at the J?
I am most excited about the opportunity to support our local community. It’s incredibly fulfilling to be part of an organization that makes a positive impact on people’s lives. Additionally, I am thrilled to take advantage of the excellent facilities available to train for my half marathon in March 2025. Combining my passion for community service with my personal fitness goals makes this role particularly special for me.
Could you explain your role and day-to-day functions?
In my role, I will manage/configure JCC’s Salesforce instance, oversee impactful projects, and design automated processes. I’ll also lead the development of reports and dashboards, and handle integrations with third-party systems. Additionally, I’ll maintain data integrity, increase adoption of new software across the agency, and provide training and support to users. Last but not least, I’ll participate in JCC events, support the mission, and ensure high-quality customer service.
I have heard this position deals with Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Can you explain what that means and how your experience will improve this function with regards to customer experience?
A Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is a tool used by organizations to manage interactions with current and potential customers. It helps streamline processes, build customer relationships, increase productivity, and improve customer service. My experience as a business/data analyst will equip me with the tools to think critically, optimize processes, develop insightful reports, and train staff effectively on new software. Overall, I’ll utilize all these skills to configure the best CRM possible for JCC.
Information management systems is a data driven role. What is your experience within the digital database field? Software knowledge and programming skills?
It certainly is! I have extensive experience in developing, normalizing and maintaining databases from my previous positions. My software knowledge/certifications include Salesforce and Power BI, and I have programming skills in Java, SQL, DAX, HTML, and more. This background equips me with the expertise needed to thrive in this data-driven role.
Why the J? What draws you to be a part of this organization?
I’m thrilled to join the J because it offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community. JCC’s dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment aligns perfectly with my values.
What is one thing few people know about you? Hobbies, interests, etc.?
One thing few people know about me is that I have set a goal to complete a full marathon in under 4 hours by the end of 2025. It’s a challenging and exciting personal milestone that I’m working towards, and it keeps me motivated and focused on being my best self each day.
Is there anything else that you would like our community and staff to know about you that I haven’t asked?
I’m a huge fan of the New York Jets and the NFL in general. I enjoy going to games and cheering on my team (Even though they might not win too often). I’m also really into fantasy football, which adds an extra layer of excitement to the season. I’m always happy to chat about the latest NFL games from that week.
