Baltimore Jewish Hall of Fame

Honoring exceptional Jewish Baltimoreans who have made significant contributions to the community and beyond.

Established in 2008, the Baltimore Jewish Hall of Fame honors and celebrates Jewish Baltimoreans who have initiated and led change in the fields of science, education, business, medicine, law, politics, community service, sports, and the arts. These prominent individuals may not have been nominated specifically for their work in the Jewish community; however, they reflect the universal Jewish value of making the world a better place. Inductions are held biennially.

This year’s event will take place on Wednesday, May 7 at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts, and is chaired by Katie Applefeld and Maury Garten.

In addition to recognizing the achievements of our honorees, the event also raises money for financial assistance for children and families to participate in JCC programs including Stoler Early Learning Center, abilities & inclusion programming, J Camps, JCC Maccabi, and membership. Our goal is to never turn away any child or teen because of a family’s financial constraints.

If you are unable to attend the Baltimore Jewish Hall of Fame event, please consider a tax-deductible donation.
