About The Film
In the heart of Tel Aviv’s historic Neve Tzedek neighborhood stands an old house that operates as a shelter for youth from broken homes. Jackie, a young man who unexpectedly finds himself running the shelter, discovers that the house actually belongs to the city, and has been bought by a developer planning to build luxury apartments in its place. Together with the house’s at-risk youth and a reticent social worker, Jackie launches a relentless struggle against the municipality and developer to save the house, which, for the youth it shelters seems like their last refuge, their last lifeline.

Inspired by a true story, this uplifting and compassionate drama gives voice to those on the periphery, often unnoticed and uncared for, telling their moving story with nuance, sensitivity and authenticity. View Film Trailer >
