We’re excited to introduce Jacob Rosenbaum, a new face at the JCC of Greater Baltimore! As a Membership Sales Consultant, Jacob brings a dynamic blend of sales experience and a strong connection to Jewish community life. Get to know him in his own words:
Q: What is your role at the JCC, and what excites you most about it?
A: I am a membership sales consultant, and what excites me the most about the role is the human interaction—getting to talk to our current members and prospective members.
Q: What inspired you to join the JCC of Greater Baltimore?
A: I was inspired to join the JCC because I’ve had a few sales jobs before, and I used to work at a synagogue. I thought it was time to combine both of those worlds with one job.
Q: Do you have any hobbies or special interests outside of work?
A: I’m a huge nerd—outside of work you can catch me playing video games or watching the latest movies. I also enjoy watching our Baltimore sports teams and the Capitals when it comes to hockey.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
A: If I could go anywhere, I would want to go back to Israel, catch up with my friends, and continue to connect to my Jewish roots.
Q: If you could have dinner with any famous person, who would it be and why?
A: David Rubenstein—because he’s a very interesting person. I’d want to chat with him about owning a copy of the Magna Carta and owning the Orioles… maybe see if he could slide a ticket or two my way.
