Marc B. Terrill

Marc Terrill served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Associated for over two decades until he stepped down from the role in June 2024.  His steady hand, vision and pragmatism were hallmarks of his leadership which aided in navigating extremely tumultuous socio-economic times while also fostering Associated Network growth, innovation and responsiveness.

Marc’s career in Jewish communal leadership spanned four decades with over 30 years of service to the Baltimore Jewish Community.  During his tenure as President of the Associated, Baltimore was regarded as a top performing Federation and known for excellence in Resource Development, the synergistic and highly productive relationship with its Agencies, and always be on the leading edge.

His visionary accomplishments include:

  • Reimagining of the Park Heights Campus into the Goldsmith Campus at Park Heights which now is a base of operation for the Associated and the majority of Associated Agencies.
  • Advocating and strengthening the connection to Israel and its people by launching programs like the highly successful Baltimore-Ashkelon partnership and the Insight Israel Forum.
  • Envisioning and advocating for direct service volunteerism for the community through the creation of programs like the Jewish Volunteer Connection.
  • Engineering of a Financial Resource Development program that empowered and sustained the Associated Network through great periods of innovation and growth.
  • Acting as a champion of those who needed the assistance of a caring community in always insisting that the Associated and its Agencies are there for all who need help and compassion.

In the next chapter of his career, Marc is sharing his experience and wisdom through his consulting practice aptly named Marc B. Terrill Consulting.  His focus is on helping non-profits, businesses and individuals realize their hopes and dreams.

Marc received a BA from the University of Florida, a Master’s in Social Work from Yeshiva University and Certification in Executive Coaching from Georgetown University.  He is married to Diana, a Clinical Psychologist, and they have three children.
