Teen Leadership & Service

Middle School Leadership Council (MSLC), now powered by 4Front, helps teens discover their leadership potential in a fun, engaging, and supportive community!

MSLC meetings are filled with games, immersive activities, expert speakers and more, all to help middle schoolers explore different ways to be a leader. Teens then put that learning into practice as they plan social events, holiday celebrations and service days for the greater middle school community.

MSLC meets twice a month on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm from November – May. Make new friends, have fun, give back, and learn to lead with MSLC!

Teen Service Pop-Ups are a great way for teens to get involved in our community and make a real difference. Each Teen Service Council pop-up event offers teens an opportunity to learn about a different need in our community, get to know local organizations making a difference, and participate in a hands-on service project to make a positive impact.

Come and make a difference in our community while hanging out with other local Jewish teens! Past events include: Understanding Food Insecurity, Love Thy Neighbor, National Muffin Day, J-Serve.

Through community programs and partnerships across Baltimore, 4Front emphasizes leadership and social justice to better our communities and build up compassionate, confident leaders. We create immersive Jewish experiences for teens to freely explore their identities and discover meaningful connections to their heritage and community. We give teens a seat at the table and amplify their voices. You don’t have to wait for the future to make an impact.

The best part? It’s all a TON of fun! From year-long cohorts to one day adventures, there’s no shortage of ways to connect with a diverse group of students and have a great time giving back.

Spend part of your winter and/or spring breaks with a taste of summer! TNT Volunteens spend the morning giving back and earning community service hours by volunteering in the JCC pre-school. In the afternoons TNTs will participate in various activities such as arts and crafts, cooking or sports. Open to current 6-8 graders. No previous TNT experience necessary.
