Meet Jinfang Chermack: Senior Accountant

Join us in giving a warm welcome to Jinfang Chermack, our new Senior Accountant. With her two years of previous experience working in the non-profit sector, she is excited to continue her journey with the J’s Finance Team. While Jinfang is dedicated to her work, she also enjoys hiking, biking, cooking and gardening. Learn more about her in the interview below.

What excites you about being at the J?

It is the most diversified place I have ever worked. Its diversity and inclusivity excite me the most.

How did you come to your position? 

I worked for a nonprofit company before. I always wanted to come back to the nonprofit industry because the industry as a whole cares about the community’s well-being.

What do you like most about your job?

I like working with my team. They are very supportive and friendly. I am proud to be part of the team.

Describe your typical day.

In my typical day, I get the most important and urgent things done, and then review tasks completed or respond to emails.

What is one accomplishment you’re most proud of?

I prepared an audit for my previous company. I created procedures and improved the audit, saving money for the company.

Who was your childhood hero?
Mother Teresa.

What’s the best piece of career/life advice you’ve ever received?
Never give up. Hold on to what you truly believe.
