Meet Hen Tsaig, our new Payroll and Accounts Payable Associate!
How did you come to your position?
I was approached about an accounts payable/receivable position in Owings Mills, and when I found out that it was for the JCC I was super excited because growing up I had always been a part of the JCC community.
What excites you about being at the JCC?
I am excited about being part of the JCC community and meeting new people.
What do you like most about your job?
It’s never boring!
Describe your typical day.
A typical day for me is checking emails, printing any invoices, and making sure they are not duplicates, paying invoices, and running payroll for the JCC.
What is one accomplishment you’re most proud of?
I can adjust easily. I have moved around a lot and in each place that I have lived I have found a way to transition and learn new things.
What is one thing few people know about you?
I made Aliyah to Israel when I was 20 and lived there for 5 years, while getting my bachelor’s degree. I worked for Birthright while I was there, which was an amazing experience!
What would you be doing if you didn’t have to work?
TRAVELING! I love to travel, explore new places, and have new experiences. Whenever I have the opportunity, that’s usually what I am doing.
