Morning sunlight exposure is essential for good health and overall well-being. The sun is the most significant natural source of vitamin D. When our skin is exposed to sunlight, it produces this vital nutrient. However, there are many other benefits to getting outside in the morning that goes beyond just vitamin D.

It helps regulate the body’s circadian rhythm, boosts mood, lowers blood pressure, improves cognitive function, and promotes healthy skin. With so many benefits, it’s essential to get outside and soak up the morning sun whenever possible.

Next time you’re feeling tired or down, take a walk outside and bask in the natural light – your body will thank you for it. Or even better, make 10-30 minutes of exposure – preferably before 10 a.m. – part of your daily routine.
