Under the direction of the Head Swim Coach, the Assistant Swim Coach, assists in developing, organizing and implementing the JCC Swim Team. Responsibilities include providing competitive swimming instruction to swim team members in Novice to Age group swimming groups, organizing and conducting team workouts, and providing motivation support and guidance. A certifications instructor would be responsible for administering and teaching American Red Cross Certification Classes. The instructor must be up to date in all American Red Cross protocols and comfortable teaching both blended and in-person lesson. J Play is a program of the JCC with a division offering babysitting services to members and guests, offering piece-of-mind while they work out or attend programming at the J, knowing their children will be safe, nurtured and entertained in our fully-equipped babysitting room. These services are offered for up to 2 hours per visit.
The Babysitters are responsible for the care, supervision and feeding of children ages three months to five years of age. Engaging play supplies (including but not limited to books, “real life” toy sets, and arts & crafts) are provided by the JCC.

The Assistant Director of Preschool and Noah’s Ark Camp Director at the Stoler Early Learning Center is a full-time leadership role responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Stoler Early Learning Center’s preschool and managing the summer Noah’s Ark Camp. The Assistant Director collaborates with the Senior Director to ensure effective operations, staff management to include hiring, onboarding, and retention, and curriculum oversight. This role focuses on creating a positive, developmentally appropriate learning environment rooted in Jewish values and fostering children’s curiosity, creativity, and growth while ensuring that the mission, vision, and goals of J Early Childhood are followed.
As a Lead Teacher you will use your knowledge of child development, curriculum, Judaism, and/or the community to help your colleagues in their development. Lead Teachers are responsible for monitoring the development and learning of the children, and for communicating this information to parents and Director. The Happy Glaze Program Associate (HGPA) serves as the first point of contact for participants in Happy Glaze ceramics painting programs. This role is responsible for restocking shelves for purchase/selection, restocking supplies as needed throughout the program, assisting participants throughout the activity, and providing additional assistance when required. The HGPA also ensures participants understand the correct process by which to paint and glaze their items, suggesting techniques and artistic materials available to assist participants in achieving their desired results.
The Babysitting Program Manager oversees the daily operations, staffing, safety, and quality of the JCC of Park Heights’ Babysitting Program. This role ensures that children receive attentive, nurturing care in a clean, organized, and engaging environment. Parents should feel confident in the safety and professionalism of the service while using the facilities of the JCC.
The Programs Assistant supports the smooth operation, growth, and quality of a wide range of JCC programs. This highly flexible role involves administrative, operational, and on-the-ground responsibilities that contribute to the success, safety, and positive experience of participants across multiple departments. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable shifting between tasks as program needs evolve.
J Camps, located at the JCC of Greater Baltimore, is looking for energetic, dedicated staff members who are interested in working in a fun, creative camp environment this summer. Our programming has a variety of focuses including aquatics, arts & culture, athletics, nature, science and more with a foundation of Judaism. In addition, our training includes child development workshops, skill sharing, and certification in Basic Water Safety and CPR. We hire on a rolling basis, and we offer excellent camper discounts for summer staff. While most of our positions are full-time, we do have a few that run for only select weeks.
Under the supervision of the Senior Director of J Camps, The J Camps Admin and Outreach coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support for the J Camps department. This role involves working closely with J Camp families and J Camp staff to ensure that registrations, paperwork, and payment information are accurate and properly entered into the J Camps software systems. The coordinator also oversees J Camps community engagement and maintains relationships with partner organizations. Additionally, this position is responsible for creating systems to maintain organization of both camper and staff information and paperwork, as well as preparing and sharing rosters and reports as necessary.
The Summer Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of J Camps by performing a variety of clerical tasks and ensuring quality assurance. Assisting with office preparation, administrative aspects, and providing general customer support to families and staff.
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supervising the J Camps Marketing team. This position is responsible for creating daily social media content, uploading all daily photos into the J Camps Baltimore app, and tracking weekly photo rosters.
The Front of House Staff is responsible overseeing all public areas of the Gordon Theater including managing the flow of patrons in and out of the Gordon Theater, operating the concessions, and/or working in the box office. This position will oversee all volunteer ushers, assuring an exceptional experience for all patrons. The Front of House Staff is the first level of supervision for the ushers in front of house theater operations.
The Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC Children’s Theatre Production Company (CTPC) is seeking show directors and/or director/choreographers for the upcoming summer 2026 CTPC Jr season: Shrek Jr. (June 22-July 17) and Mary Poppins Jr. (July 20-August 14) both for grades 3-8. The director will work alongside selected production assistants and counselors to run rehearsals, review material, work backstage for the production, and any other duties assigned to them in relation to the show. The ideal CTPC Director is a multi-tasking team player, an excellent communicator, is willing to go above and beyond for CTPC families and staff, is prepared to be a role model within the arts and JCC communities and has experience and loves teaching children of all ages.

The ideal candidate is an arts education professional who is prepared and eager to be a role model within their field, for the Center of Arts & Culture, and the JCC as a whole.
This summer, the Arts and Culture department within J Camps will be offering two theatre arts camps. The first camp of the summer is Habimah Arts Camp, a multi-disciplinary summer camp giving children in grades 1-4 exposure and skill-building in both visual and performing arts. Habimah counselors will assist and help support the teaching artists in their classes to help ensure that campers have a successful and enjoyable experience, as well as assist in the smooth run of the final showcase for performers and audience members alike.
For two four-week sessions, Children’s Theatre Production Camp (CTPC) will offer additional performance production-based summer camps. CTPC Jr.’s Shrek Jr. and Mary Poppins Jr (grades 3-8) will prepare full length age appropriate musicals. Selected counselors will be working with the director to help run rehearsals, review material with campers, work backstage for the production, and any other duties assigned to them in relation to the show. Also looking to hire counselors who will serve as stage managers and assistant stage managers for the two upcoming productions.

This role provides hands-on experience in recruitment operations, onboarding administration, and HR systems management within a fast-paced camp environment.
The HR Intern will work closely with the Human Resources Generalist and HR team to support seasonal hiring efforts and ensure a smooth and compliant onboarding experience for summer staff.
