Children's Theatre Production Company

2021 UPDATE:  All classes will be following CDC and state protocols for a safe, healthy and supportive environment for your child to learn and have fun!

Broadway Bootcamp | Academy Theatre Program | Private Lessons

At the Children’s Theatre Production Company, students develop imagination, concentration, character, professionalism, and technique, and strengthen their command of their body and voice. Children find dynamic experiences whether they are beginners exploring acting for the first time, or more seasoned actors looking to gain deeper experience from trained professionals. Students are grouped by age, with grades 3-8 in one cohort, and grades 1-3 in the Junior program.

This year, we will be offering two tracks: A Community Children’s Theatre Track that will include the Broadway Bootcamp and a Pre Professional Track, the Academy Theatre Program. After the fall programs conclude, we will hold auditions for the spring musical productions for both the CTPC and CTPC Jr.  Children will be appropriately placed based on their age, spring availability, level of commitment, talent, and skills.

Broadway Bootcamp

November 1 - December 12 | Grades 1-8
Sundays | 1:30-4:30pm -and-
 Mondays | 6:00-8:00pm
Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC

We will start our fall session with Broadway Bootcamp!  Grades 1-8 will meet on Sundays and Mondays for six weeks, to refine their musical theater talents with customized coaching and classes in singing, dancing, acting, and audition technique. At the end of the program, participants will have the first opportunity to audition for our upcoming spring musical.  For our last class, we will be performing a short showcase to show our adults what we’ve learned!

Experience Level:  Groups will be divided by grades.  CTPC will be grades 3-8 and CTPC Jr. will be grades 1-3.  This program is well suited for beginning and seasoned actors alike, who want an inviting, inclusive, and all around fun experience this fall.  We have catered our program to students who have a desire to explore acting, singing or dancing for the first time and for those looking to gain more experience from trained theatre professionals. Children will enhance their technique, strengthen command of their body and voice, and feel the thrill of performing.  This is considered a similar model to a children's community theatre and all are welcome and encouraged to join.

Academy Theatre Program

November 2 - December 14 | Grades 3-8
Tuesdays | 4:30-7:30pm

Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC

Our new Academy Theatre Program (ATP), facilitated and directed by our new Arts Education Manager, Adrienne Bergeron, is a focused theatre career development extension of our CTPC program.  For grades 3-8, this exclusive invitation only program will be designed for the pre-professional student who wants to refine their work in every element of musical theatre.  These students will have access to extensive training that include, but are not limited to, singing, dancing, and acting.  Throughout the year, members will also have master class intensive opportunities, audition technique seminars, and the chance to master the performance experience.  This fall, the Academy will meet once a week, and admitted students are encouraged to also take advantage of our Fall Broadway Bootcamp in order to receive extra practice (classes and showcases will not crossover).  For our last fall class, we will perform a showcase to show our family and friends what we’ve learned!

Audition Required
Auditions will be held on Monday, October 25 from 4:30-8:00pm – with required meet and greet with the director, Ms. Adrienne, from 4:00-4:30pm.
