Two of Maryland’s premiere professional dance companies unite in a program highlighting virtuosity, diverse artistic visions, and emotional impact. Combining the grounded power of modern dance with the soaring sweep of ballet, this unique collaboration will engage your mind and move your spirit.

Dancers from both companies will share the stage with violinist Melissa Hullman and percussionist Christopher Payne, whose musical composition, created specifically for this occasion, will include responses to the dancers in real time. A small number of young dancers, drawn from each company’s school, will enrich the visual and kinetic tapestry.
