Art & Artists: The Art of Passover

Join us for a journey through the background of artists and works of art inspired by the celebration of Passover. As most know, the Holiday of Passover is based on the story of the Exodus of the Jews from Egypt. The name Passover” comes from the “Passing over” of the homes of the Jews during the 10th plague, the death of the first born. This program looks at the Passover celebration via art objects as visual resources for learning and understanding.
