Inclusion & Ability

The JCC strives to promote a culture of inclusion and diversity within the Jewish community and the greater Baltimore community that welcomes and supports individuals of all abilities and their families throughout their lives. We strive to ensure that people with disabilities are able to participate in all that the JCC has to offer. If you, your child, or a family member requires accommodations in order to participate in a program or event, please let us know and we will do our best to make it happen!

The J is accessible to those with special needs, offering:

  • Sign language and oral interpreters upon request (may include service fee)
  • Infrared listening systems in our performing arts facilities
  • Physical accessibility throughout both facilities
  • TTY availability for incoming and outgoing calls (MD Relay# 1.800.735.2258)

Community Resources
Jewish Community Services and the Friendship Circle provide additional services and programming for teens and adults and many other resources can be found on the Baltimore Jewish Abilities Alliance website.
