Young Adults

Events & Gatherings

Tap in to some awe-inspiring opportunities leading up to the most awe-inspiring time of the Jewish year!

In the rhythm of the Jewish calendar, the last Hebrew month Elul flows into the New Year (Rosh Hashanah). Join us in activities influenced by Judaism and other traditions that share the value of reflection. View our upcoming events.

Meet other young adults, stay informed about upcoming happenings and learn about other partner organizations in the Baltimore Jewish community through our festival-style Jewish holiday events, monthly happy hours, and Shabbat-Luck dinners. Check out photos from our past events on our Facebook page.

Charm City Tribe

J Downtown is the Greater Baltimore JCC's contribution to the current Jewish downtown lifestyle. Participate with other young adults downtown with the J’s Charm City Tribe.

Charm City Tribe (CCT) is a dynamic, growing group of 20 and 30 year old adults exploring Judaism in the diverse backdrop of Baltimore City. We are composed of young adults with all Jewish affiliations, including interfaith couples, Jews of color, LGBTQ folks, and beyond to embrace Jewish culture and tradition in meaningful and imaginative ways. By fostering relationships individually and building community collectively, we create opportunities to come together according to the rhythm of the Jewish holiday calendar.

Community Connectors

We care deeply about building relationships and creating connections first. Our staff and community connectors help greet newcomers to all of the different young adult opportunities available in the greater Baltimore Jewish community. Meet our Community Connectors and one of us will get to know you over coffee or a drink.
