Director of Fitness, Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC
Raychel joined the JCC team in Fall 2015 and serves as the Director of Fitness at our Owings Mills location. Raychel’s responsibilities include supervising personal training, small group training, specialty classes, fitness center operations, and collaboration on fitness and agency wide events. Raychel is an NCCPT Certified Personal Trainer, Youth Fitness Specialist, Certified K-12 Physical Education and Health Teacher, Group Fitness Instructor, and holds a B.S. in Physical Education and Health in addition to an M.Ed. in Athletic Administration and Physical Education. In pre-school, Raychel learned to swim at the J with her triplet brother and sister. A true “J kid,” of the J and of Jersey, Raychel is also a huge NY Jets fan.
Fitness Supervisor and Personal Training Coordinator, Park Heights JCC
Denard joined the J’s Fitness Center Staff in June of 2008. Denard supervises the Weinberg Park Heights JCC’s Fitness Center, fitness center staff and personal trainers, and manages the Center’s operations. A Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a Concentration in Recreation and Parks Management, Denard also holds his AFAA and ISSA Personal Trainer certifications. Denard’s hobbies include “anything involving sports — the more physical, the better.” A semi-professional football player since 2004, Denard loves cinema, playing video games, and being with family and friends.

CE Certified Personal Trainer; Associates Degree in Health and Fitness from CCBC; B.S. in Exercise Science from Towson University
Currently an exercise and physical education teacher, Chana is also a yoga and group fitness practitioner, who specializes in working with children and adolescents.
Fitour Certified Personal Trainer with expertise in healthy weight loss, muscle toning, strength training, conditioning, and body building
Experience teaching junior fitness programs, and numerous other teen and adult- oriented fitness clinics.

Teaches and runs sports clinics, coaches Table Tennis and children’s basketball.
Michelle Mannes Mandell
NSPA Personal Trainer, CPR Certified Weight Management Specialist
Experience in training Spinal Stabilization and PNF Stretching. Expertise on core and balance and how it relates to functional training.
AFPA Personal Trainer Certified, A.A. Applied Exercise Science, B.S. Kinesiology/Physical Education
Focus on correct form and posture for all ages and fitness levels. Experience training with post-rehab, individuals with special needs, and for 5k or half marathons.
Experience in strength training.
ACE Certificate Personal Trainer from The Community College of Baltimore County, Schwinn Certified Cycling Instructor, Les Mills Certified BodyVive Instructor.
