We are looking for great films of Jewish interest!
Eligibility
To be eligible for consideration, films should have a US release date no more than two years prior to the festival. Films streaming on major platforms are not eligible for consideration, nor are films that have had a broad theatrical release. Limited theatrical release may be considered. Please contact us to inquire about eligibility.
Values
The BJFF seeks engaging films of Jewish interest. This can be interpreted broadly to mean any film that addresses Jewish history, heritage, culture, or characters, as well as Israeli films. The festival values diversity of genre, so drama, comedy, documentary, and more are welcome. An Audience Favorite Award is selected using a simple scoring system.
To submit your film for consideration, please send a trailer and a screener to Sara Qureshi, Program Director. A trailer is required for best consideration.
