Join us for a special series of outstanding films of Jewish interest exploring the theme of Resilience through Struggle: Films about the Holocaust and Today. One selected title will be presented virtually each month from October though December. Screening events also include live virtual discussions with engaging speakers. See all three films and save with a series package!

Tiger Within
October 18 | 7:00pm
An unlikely friendship develops between a troubled teen and a Holocaust survivor, sparking discussions of fear, forgiveness, healing and world peace. Starring acclaimed and beloved actor Ed Asner.

November 15 | 7:00pm
In 1945, a group of Holocaust survivors plans a dangerous and bold secret operation to poison the German water system in retaliation. Based on the incredible true story.

A Starry Sky Above the Roman Ghetto
December 21 | 7:00pm
Past and present meet when the discovery of a mysterious, old photograph sends a group of Christian and Jewish students on a journey through a painful past in search of the truth.

The Gordon and the JCC bring arts enrichment & cultural events to the community. We offer high-quality arts classes, trips, films and other creative opportunities for adults as well as dance, music and performing arts programs for youth. You can find them at the Gordon Center or in the classrooms and studios of the Rosenbloom Owings Mills and Weinberg Park Heights JCCs.
