Presented in partnership with the

The William and Irene Weinberg Family Baltimore Jewish Film Festival, in partnership with the Jewish Museum of Maryland, presents Space Torah.  This free, special event exclusively for BJFF and JMM supporters, will include a virtual screening of this short film, a discussion with the producer, and the opportunity to support the BJFF and/or the JMM at discounted rates.

About the film
In 1996, NASA astronaut Dr. Jeff Hoffman brought a small Torah scroll on board Space Shuttle Columbia. On Shabbat, while orbiting the Earth, he read from the book of Genesis. This story is about inspiration, communities, and a man’s journey.

Virtual admission is FREE, but tickets are required.
