Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 7:30 pm

Tarsha Fitzgerald Productions presents this musical tribute to the legendary Rick James and Lady Teena Marie, starring national recording artist Randall Bostick and Ariana and Band Live from Las Vegas. With a special opening act featuring Mo' Horns & Friends: The Best of Jazz, Funk & Soul Music performing the Love Train Experience.

Randall Bostick is a 3 time BMA nominated, and recipient of the 2016 award for best male tribute artist. He is a self taught multi-instrumentalist and an exceptional performer/singer/songwriter. Featured in the Rick James TV documentary, over the last ten years Bostick has been the front man and lead vocalist for Rick James’ Original Stone City Band, in which he’s performed for massive audiences and sold out stadiums worldwide. With his remarkable resemblance to the late king of “Punk Funk”, his passion for the stage along with his miraculous vocal ability, he’ll have the crowd on their feet ready to fire up the funk!

Mo Horns & Friends includes Marvin Thompson on trombone, James Cheeks on saxophone, and Theljon Allen on trumpet; joined by band members Mark Stewart (musical director, drums), and Rodney Lewis (bass).

Mo'Horns began in 1991 when Marvin Thompson and James Cheeks first met on a live recording during John P. Kee's VIP Convention in Washington, D. C. Many musical engagements followed as Marvin and James collaborated with renowned musical director Steve Lawrence, and created horn arrangements for several artists and multi-media outlets. Mo'Horns are voting members of the Recording Academy (Grammys), and also appear on several Grammy nominated and winning projects. Mo’Horns recently appeared on TBN's K Love Fan Awards, performing with Dante Bowe in 2021, and on TV One's Urban Honors Awards 2020. Mo'Horns appeared on the soundtrack for the feature film entitled, The High Note, starring Tracey Ellis Ross. Other performances include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and the Dave Letterman Show. Performance venues include the renowned John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Blues Alley (Washington, D.C.), Madison Square Garden, The Royal Albert Hall (London), Tokyo, Billboard and more.
