Do I have to be a member of the JCC to attend the JCC preschool?
Family Membership is included in your child's tuition.

Do we have to be Jewish to attend?
No, our schools are open to the community.

What are your operating hours?
7:00am-6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Friday closing times vary only at our Park Heights location.

What is the ratio of teachers to children?
0-24 MONTHS - 1:3
2 YEAR OLDS - 1:6  
3 AND 4 YEAR OLDS - 1:10

Must my child be toilet trained by a specific age?
At the ELC we ask that a child be toilet trained by 4, but understand there are a variety of reasons that a child may not be potty trained by the time they turn four. We work with families when they are ready to potty train their child at any age.

Are parents welcome to visit during the day?
Yes, we have an open door policy and welcome family members to visit our program. At the ELC, we do request that parents schedule visits with the teacher prior to any visit.

Must my child take a nap during the day?
No - all children are encouraged to rest but those that have given up their naps will be offered quiet activities while the other children are resting. At the ELC, we have a designated Quiet Room for this purpose.

Yes, Noah’s Ark at Owings Mills, Camp Ami at Park Heights

Are you closed on the Jewish Holidays?
