Ariela, a free-spirited muralist, feels deeply connected to her tight-knit Jewish community in Mexico City, except for the pressure she feels to find a suitable partner. While her friends find spouses within the community, she rejects suitor after suitor. Unexpectedly, she falls in love with Ivan, a non-Jew who appreciates Ariela and her art. She learns there are no easy choices as she struggles with her heart to find her path.
