Chalk Over Hate: Fighting Antisemitism Through Public Art
An Event to Celebrate Shavuot and Promote Social Change
Friday, June 3 | 3:30-5:30pm
Upper Left Preschool Entrance — Near the Outdoor Pool at the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC
Join us for a National Day of Action as we create art and spread messages of tolerance and love while welcoming in the holiday of Shavuot (which starts Saturday night). Local artist Julie Wohl will help spark our creativity and connect to J values, as we counter hateful acts with beautiful art. All ages, backgrounds and artistic ability are welcome. Come one, come all! We'll provide the chalk, stencils, inspiration, and ices!
After supporting social justice, stay and swim at the JCC. Non-members will receive bracelets to allow them entry to the pool until closing.
