Hungarian with English subtitles, 91 min.

On a summer day in post-wartime 1945, the villagers in a small Hungarian town prepare for the wedding of the town clerk's son until news spreads of the arrival of two Orthodox men. The two men have hired a cart to transport a large box and have begun a slow journey through the town. Suddenly, the mood of many of the townsfolk changes from one of celebration to one of fear and suspicion. Are some of these "good" Hungarian citizens about to be confronted with their wartime acts of betrayal against former Jewish neighbors, including the confiscation of Jewish property? A palpable sense of guilt permeates the town.
