A team player with a can-do attitude, 4Front’s Diller Coordinator helps to implement a vision for more engaged Jewish teens throughout Jewish Baltimore, serving as a passionate facilitator and leader of Jewish teen programming. This professional will plan and implement engaging and impactful teen programs from start to finish, with content focusing on leadership, Jewish identity, Israel, and advocacy.

The core component of this position is leading the Baltimore Diller Teen Fellows program. Diller Teen Fellows is a prestigious leadership program that targets teens in 11th grade and spearheads the development of Jewish youth leadership founded on a unique model of Jewish pluralism, Jewish Peoplehood, and transatlantic partnership. Diller Teen Fellows is an international program with 32 participating communities across the U.S., Canada, South Africa, Australia, South America, Europe and Israel, supported by the Helen Diller Family Foundation. Additionally, a member of the 4Front team, the Diller Coordinator will also assist in supporting 4Front’s mission to enhance Jewish teen engagement in Baltimore through additional program and event planning and facilitation.

All active full-time, part-time, and temporary staff are required to provide proof of full vaccination (COVID-19) as a condition of employment as of November 15, 2021.


  • BA in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Jewish Studies, or related field.
  • Experience developing and leading programming addressing Jewish identity. development, youth leadership development, community service, and Israel education
  • Experience in experiential education, group facilitation, program development and/or management.

SALARY RANGE: $48,000- $54,000


Diller Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and lead scheduled workshops and retreats throughout the year in accordance with the Diller mission, vision, and goals.
  • Coordinate program logistics.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to 20 program participants, 2 Junior Counselors, 1 Program Intern.
  • Manage the interview and selection process for 20 participants for each upcoming program year.
  • Maintain and manage program budget.
  • Conduct program recruitment locally in collaboration with other local organizations.
  • Design, co-lead, and supervise, in partnership with Israeli partner Coordinator, seminars in local community and in Israel.
  • Engage parents of participating teens that help them understand and contribute to the experience their teens are having.

4Front Program responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan and implement an engaging teen program focused on advocacy through a Jewish lens.
  • Evolve existing program curriculum to develop program workshops and events.
  • Coordinate program logistics.
  • Maintain and manage program budget.
  • Conduct program recruitment.

Active participation in national and international professional development through Diller International, as well as 4Front and JCC agency wide trainings, staff meetings, and special events.

Perform other duties as assigned.


  1. Proven success developing personal connections with young people.
  2. Understanding of and appreciation for Israeli culture, preferably including extended time in Israel and at least a beginning-intermediate understanding of Israeli history, politics, and geography.
  3. Familiarity with Jewish concepts and values, calendar, and practices.
  4. Strong facilitation, organization, and written/oral communication skills.
  5. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  6. Ability to collaborate in an international partnership.
  7. Works well in a team environment.
  8. Availability to work evenings and weekends, including travel to Israel for 3 weeks during the summer as well as additional travel during the year to a variety of conferences and trainings.
