Digital Marketing Specialist

Summary

The JCC of Greater Baltimore is looking to hire a qualified Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. The Digital Marketing Specialist will coordinate and manage marketing efforts using new media and digital tools.

This person will creatively handle various online marketing tools, like the JCC websites, social media, and blogs. He/she will work with staff to coordinate marketing, advertising and promotional activities through online properties.

Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist, Social Media or Digital Marketing Coordinator
  • Strong familiarity with managing and maintaining social media sites for businesses, including organic and paid content
  • Solid knowledge of Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, and other media editing software
  • Familiarity with websites and content management systems
  • Strong understanding and implementation of SEO best practices
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • An ability to multitask and perform under pressure
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • BS degree in Marketing, Digital Communications or relevant field
  • Additional qualification in design and video editing is a plus
  • Email marketing experience a plus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create online campaigns aligned with business goals
  • Coordinate and create digital content (e.g. social media, website, videos, blogs)
  • Maintain and manage social media content
  • Create and analyze monthly reports for JCC websites, emails, and social media platforms
  • Assist in implementing social media and online advertisements
  • Maintain web presence as needed
  • Monitor ROI and KPIs
  • Manage internal and professional video shoots for the agency
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends
  • Participate in agency training, staff meetings, supervisory conferences, committees and special events. Represent the JCC on appropriate staff committees and at interagency and professional conferences as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Work Environment

The work environment is usually fast paced. This job requires high energy and interaction with staff, community leaders, and outside partners and vendors.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
