Jeff Rubin Represents Team USA in Tennis at the 21st Maccabiah Games

The 21st Maccabiah Games are currently being held in Netanya, Israel. Jeff Rubin, a local business owner, JCC member and husband of our very own Chief Advancement Officer, Esther Greenberg, is proudly representing the US team and competing in the 65+ tennis competition. He is one of approximately 12,000 Jewish athletes competing in the games, that are often referred to as the ‘Jewish Olympics’. The first Maccabiah games were held in Tel Aviv in 1932.

If Danny Hoffman has his way, Baltimore’s JCC Maccabi Games basketball team will one day become a national powerhouse, on par with some of the biggest teams in Atlanta, Miami, and Philadelphia. Baltimore Athletes Make Memories and Take Pride in JCC Maccabi Games® Experience 

The JCC Maccabi Games®, held over the last two weeks in St. Louis, MO, and Stamford, CT, have been offering life - and personality-shaping experiences to Jewish teenagers since 1982. 

Teens from around the world participate in this five-day Olympic-style sporting event held each summer. Beyond the athletic competition, the Games promote community involvement, teamwork, and pride in being Jewish.
