PRIVATE VOICE LESSONS

Develop vocal skills while singing music you love! Voice lessons offer children, grades 1+, an opportunity to study vocal technique and ear training. Learn more about private lessons.

ZIMRA CHORAL GROUP

Join a dynamic auditioned choir, singing pop and Jewish music for grades 3-6. Students will learn advanced vocal techniques, ear training, harmonizing, and more!

Offered both virtually with Mary Gipe and in person with our resident Musical Director, students are taught how to develop their voice, focus on breath control and expanding high and low registers. Students may also utilize their time to work on pieces for what they are currently rehearsing; whether it’s a solo within a show at the CTPC, Zimra choir, or outside of the J.  Lessons are tailored to each student's skill level and interests.

Please note, students are responsible for bringing in their own sheet music unless expressed to the teacher that they’d like assistance with finding an appropriate score. Lessons can be arranged for either 30 minutes or 1 hour.

Facilitated by our new resident musical director, your student will learn advanced vocal techniques, ear training, harmonizing, and more. The last class will have a showcase in the Gordon Blackbox, to allow our families to see what we’ve worked on all season long. In the spring, Zimra students will have the exclusive chance to perform on the Gordon Stage with HaZamir in the Spring! Auditions required.
