The JCC provides a great social network for teens in grades 6 to 8. Options range from teen dances to dance classes to fitness challenges and leadership training. Teens who love kids can earn a Red Cross babysitting certificate or sign up to be a TNT counselor in our Noah's Ark preschool camp.

Middle School Leadership Council
At the J we believe that leadership can take many shapes and levels of commitment. For some teens it can mean being part of a group that brainstorms fundraising ideas while for others it means being the person who orchestrates discussions or contacts friends to participate in programs. No matter which role one plays, there is always the feeling of gratification that comes from making a difference in the world, and if you can help others while bonding with friends, that’s even better.

Teens as young as sixth grade can participate in our Middle School Leadership Council or the annual community J Serve day. By seventh grade you can become a TNT, helping out in our preschool, and by ninth grade the opportunities are endless. From our summer Machon and LIT camp programs to our new Center for Teen Engagement (starting Fall 2016) to BBYO, Diller, TGI and TCI there are so many ways for you to grow as a leader in the Baltimore community.
Register for any/all teen programs and events online!
