GROUP FITNESS CLASSES AT THE JCC
Group Fitness classes are included in your membership at no additional charge. Group Fitness classes are for JCC Members ages 15+.
JCC Group Fitness Inclement Weather Policy:
If Baltimore County Schools are ONE HOUR LATE, only classes at 8:30am are cancelled. All other morning classes will proceed as scheduled – 6:00am, 9:30am-12:00pm.
If Baltimore County Schools are TWO HOURS LATE, classes will begin at 9:30am. There will be no 6:00am or 8:30am classes.
If Baltimore County Schools are CANCELLED/CLOSED, Group Fitness classes will not start before 9:30am. Please check the JCC's website, the JCC's Facebook page, or call 410.559.3534 for a modified class schedule.
Evening class schedules will be determined by 4:00pm.
Saturday class schedules will be determined by 12:00pm.
Sunday class schedules will be determined early Sunday morning.

RESISTANCE TRAINING & BODY SCULPTING
The original barbell class that challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weightroom exercises like squats, presses, lifts, and curls. Great music, awesome instructors, and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast! Barre Sculpt: A mix of body sculpting with strength and balance training. This workout creates a lean, firm, sculpted body using the body-elongating practice of dance conditioning, and the intense pace of interval training.
GROUP CYCLING CLASSES:
Cycling: Build endurance and cardiovascular fitness as your instructor takes you on a ride on stationary bicycles.
FOR BEGINNERS & OLDER ADULTS
Forever Fit: A combination of cardio, weights, abdominal exercises, stretching and the Resist-A-Ball.
Get Fit, Stay Fit: Easy-to-learn cardio combined with strength training to improve overall fitness, balance, and coordination.
Golden Drums & More: DRUMS Alive for the active older adult and more!
Circuit Xpress: For beginners that want to use the equipment in the Fitness Center. Includes strength intervals with cardio between each body part sequence.
BODYSTEP is a simple, athletic and fun workout using an adjustable step platform set to energizing music.
TurboKICK: The club version of the popular TurboJAM™ workout! Combines shadow boxing, kicks, and simple dance moves with great music.
DRUMS ALIVE: A powerful class using drumsticks, a resistance ball, and great music. It is designed to burn fat, improve fitness, and have fun!
BODYATTACK: The sports-inspired cardio workout to build strength and stamina. A high-energy class to improve coordination and agility.
SH'BAM: A dance fitness program featuring simple but seriously hot dance moves set to the latest charttopping hits. It's the perfect way to shape up and let out your inner star – even if you're dance challenged.
ZUMBA: A fun and easy-to-do workout combining Latin and International dance themes. High energy so you can dance away your worries. Great for the body and the mind.
ZUMBA toning: The original ZUMBA with the addition of light weights for muscle conditioning.
ZUMBA gold: ZUMBA for beginners & active older adults.
Yoga blends postures (asanas) with breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation. It is a practice cultivating strength, balance, and flexibility with an emphasis on experiencing life in the present moment.
Restorative Yoga: Supported, gentle yoga. Postures are assisted using blankets, blocks, and straps. You will stretch and restore your base-line flexibility. Perfect for beginners and people with very tight muscles.
Mat Pilates: A mind and body exercise designed to lengthen and tone the entire body. Pilates focuses on the core muscles creating flat abs and a strong back. It will help you gain strength, balance, and flexibility.
BODYFLOW: The Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength
PLEASE NOTE: The JCC no longer has mats for member use. This is for your health and the health of others. Please bring your own sticky mat for Yoga, Pilates and BODYFLOW classes.
