Thomas begins working for Oren’s widow, Anat, in her café without her knowing his connection to her dead husband. A relationship develops as Thomas brings life into their home and Anat’s café with his amazing ability to create delicious pastry.

Oliel, a young Israeli security guard, is critically injured during a terror attack in Jerusalem. On the train to the hospital Oliel’s distraught girlfriend, Amal, and his estranged mother, Bima, sit together unaware that they are going to see the same man. Amal and Bina arrive at the hospital at the same time however Amal cannot reveal to Oliel’s mother who she is.

Naomi, an Israeli Mossad agent, is pressed back into duty after a break due to a traumatic experience. She is assigned to protect Mona, a Lebanese informer who has had extensive plastic surgery and is being held in a safe house in Hamburg. As Mona’s bandages are slowly removed, the two women’s stories of love, loss and longing are revealed as is Mona’s new face.
