The JCC offers a warm and safe place for toddlers, children, pre-teens, and teens to spread their wings and explore. We provide family programs, arts classes, as well as after-school activities

NEW! Children's Theatre Company

The J’s NEW Children’s Theatre Company will be holding auditions for its Spring production of The Wizard of Oz , Sunday, February 8, 2015.  Directed by the highly-regarded Broadway veteran Cjay Philip, this production is well-suited for beginning and seasoned actors alike, for those exploring acting for the first time, and for those looking to gain more experience from trained theatre professionals.

Rehearsals will be held on Sundays from 1:30-4:30pm, and Mondays 6:00 – 8:00pm beginning February 22, 2015.

Student actors, please come prepared to move in comfortable cloths and sneakers. Please also bring a head shot or photo. You will participate in theatre games and learn movement and a song from the show.

Grades 1-2 : G: $200 | M: $150 Grades 3-7: G: $300 | M: $250 


Towson University Community Dance at the OM JCC

Dance classes for ages 3-8

Towson University’s (TU) comprehensive curriculum, renowned faculty and highly trained instructors will be offering excellence in dance education for children at the JCC. Accredited by the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD), the TU Community Dance program promotes an appreciation of the aesthetics of dance as an art form.

Culture Club

Grades: 1-5  Thursdays, 10/4‑5/28  OM 4:30‑ 5:30pm                                                                                                  

Calling all creative kids!  Music, dance, visual arts, culinary arts and more-an elevated cultural experience built right into Kids Center. Children with be introduced to the wonderful world of visual and performing arts with professional teaching artists through creative projects, games, music, movement, and storytelling. A little too much youtube and not enough Picasso? Culture Club will energize students by providing weekly access to quality arts experiences with talented local and national artists.  Perfect for experienced artists and those who just want to test the waters. Join monthly or join for the entire year! Each month will offer a different theme and another incredible Baltimore Arts organization partner. 2 months min. Now accepting registration from 1st graders! 1st grade students do not need to sign up for the minimum two months. Get more information here.

NEW! Beginner Group Guitar Lessons
with Matthew Chase

Learn how to play your favorite songs, solos and even learn to play with other musicians with Matthew Chase. Guitar required. First lesson is FREE and receive a free lesson with each referral. 4 week minimum. Begin at any time! Fees are per 45 min session. Matthew Chase has over 10 years of teaching experience and has performed on stage with Santana, KISS, Aerosmith, and more. Lessons should be purchased in sets of 4. 48hrs of advanced notice must be given for an absence to receive a full refund.
