Group Fitness Classes

The JCC's Group Fitness program is a great way to exercise and have a lot of fun. There is a social atmosphere while energy and motivation run high. Instead of one workout partner, you have a room full of them. Our instructors are some of the area's best! They are nationally certified – having completed training programs which prepare them to motivate you to do more than you could ever do alone.

Our diverse class selection includes the popular Les Mills™ BODYPUMP® and BODYSTEP®, ZUMBA®, and TurboKICK® workouts, as well as kickboxing, strength training, cardio interval training, and yoga. Yoga fans will enjoy a full range of classes – all focusing on breathing and postural alignment while building strength, balance, and flexibility. Our Schwinn® Indoor Cycling classes are another high-energy cardio option. You'll burn hundreds of calories while your instructor takes you on an authentic ride set to great music.

Group Fitness classes are now included in your JCC membership at no additional charge. Group Fitness classes are for JCC Members ages 15+. NO EXCEPTIONS!

BODYPUMP™: The original barbell class that challenges all your major muscle groups by using squats, presses, lifts, and curls. Great music, awesome instructors, and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!

Barre Sculpt: A mix of body sculpting with flexibility, strength training and balance. This workout combines isometrics, the body-elongating practice of dance conditioning, and the intense pace of interval training.  

Abs, Core & More: A unique fusion of exercises to strengthen the abs and core to create a sleek toned body and flat abdomen. Also an excellent way to strengthen your back and create good posture.


BODYSTEP™:uses a height-adjustable platform and simple movements on, over, and around the step. Cardio blocks are followed by body-weight muscle conditioning.

TurboKICK™: The club version of the popular TurboJAM™ workout! Combines shadow boxing, kicks, and simple dance moves with great music. TurboKickin' Core includes 20 minutes of cardio with the resist-a-ball to work your abs, core, and obliques.

Cardio Core: A total-body workout to strengthen your core. Includes high and low intensity cardiovascular intervals using the Resist-a-ball.

Drums Alive: A powerful and motivating class using drumsticks, a resistance ball, and great music. It is designed to burn fat, improve fitness, and have fun!

Step: Consists of high-intensity, easy to follow choreography using the step platform.

Les Mills BODYATTACK™The sports-inspired cardio workout to build strength and stamina. A high-energy class to improve coordination and agility.

ZUMBA®: A fun and easy-to-do workout combining Latin and International dance themes. High energy so you can dance away your worries. Great for the body and the mind.

ZUMBA® Basic: Learn the basics of ZUMBA.

ZUMBA® Gold: ZUMBA for beginners & active older adults.


For your health and the health of others, please bring your own sticky mat for Yoga and Pilates classes. Although we have a limited number of mats for member use, we don't recommend sharing mats. Thank you for your cooperation.

Yoga blends postures (asanas) with breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation. It is a practice cultivating strength, balance, and flexibility with an emphasis on experiencing life in the present moment.

Restorative Yoga: Supported, gentle yoga. Postures are assisted using blankets, blocks, and straps. You will stretch and restore your base-line flexibility. Perfect for beginners and people with very tight muscles.

Mat Pilates: A mind and body exercise designed to lengthen and tone the entire body. Pilates focuses on the core muscles creating flat abs and a strong back. It will help you gain strength, balance, and flexibility.

Les Mills BODYFLOW: The Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm.


Cycling: Build endurance and cardiovascular fitness as your instructor takes you on a ride on stationary bicycles.


Get Fit, Stay Fit! A combination of aerobic conditioning, weights, flexibility work, abdominal exercises, and stretching to get you fit and keep you fit.

Fit For Life: Enjoy the benefits of cardiovascular, balance, and core training.

Seniors in Motion: A combination of light cardiovascular exercise and strength training. : Join the party! Latin-infused cardio dance designed for beginners and active older adults.

Beginner Yoga: Enjoy increased concentration, balance, flexibility and well-being through poses and light stretching.
