Group Fitness Classes

NEW Foam Roller Fitness classes (shown above) join the Group Fitness Schedule - try one soon!

SMRT is a “smart rolling” foam roller called a grid that one rolls over muscles before a class. “We do it before classes like cycling or Zumba and we roll over those muscles specific to the muscles we are using in the exercise. It's like a massage. SMRT makes you stand taller and feel better,” says Amy Schwartz, Fitness Director.

The JCC's Group Fitness program is a great way to exercise and have a lot of fun. Our instructors are some of the area's best! They are nationally certified having completed training programs which prepare them to motivate you to do more than you could ever do alone.

• Strength classes including BODYPUMP™ and Barre Sculpt
• Cardiovascular classes including ZUMBA®, SH'BAM™, BODYSTEP™, BODYATTACK™, BODYCOMBAT™ and DRUMS ALIVE™.
• Yoga, Pilates and BODYFLOW™
• Classes for Beginners and Older Adults Group Fitness is FREE to our members.

New to the JCC and working out?

Every new member is entitled to the JCC Well-come; an orientation to the fitness center at the JCC. Our professionally trained staff will help you learn how to use our cardio and weight equipment.  We will make sure youl understand which body part is targeted and how often you should use the equipment. We will also familiarize you with all of the other amenities we offer through our fitness department such as group fitness classes, youth and teen fitness and personal training.  Our staff will be happy to serve as your ambassadors to the JCC.  We look forward to meeting you!

Orientation Hours:
Owings Mills:  Tuesdays 7pm; Thursdays 11am
Park Heights:  Mondays  8pm;  Sundays 2pm; Thursdays 11am
