Don’t miss this crowd-pleasing artist, whose wacky, irreverent songs like “All I Want is You”, featured in the movie Juno, have delighted audiences in a range of musical venues and elementary schools alike.

CSA Karate Demo

CSA Karate Demo10:55-11:10am | For over 25 years, Comprehensive Survival Arts has been the JCC’s martial arts partner, teaching everything from kickboxing to tai chi for kids and adults of all ages and skill sets. Come watch CSA’s martial arts school demonstrate its karate chops!

Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble

Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble11:25am-12:05pm | Celebrating over 30 years touring in places as far as Japan and Edinburgh and as near as Baltimore and Washington D.C., Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble has long been recognized as a creative and pioneering force in presenting roots-based music and percussive dance. With a dazzling and diverse array of traditional and original music and choreography, Footworks takes you on a journey that conveys the roots and branches of American music and dance, integrating live music, song, and dance to illuminate connections between cultures.

Brian Rudo: Magic and Illusion

12:20-1:00pm | Thrill with delight as Brian Rudo brings his signature blend of “adrenaline comedy” and street magic to the JCC. For over 15 years, Brian has captivated audiences throughout the region with juggling, “fire jump rope”, straitjacket escapes, and balancing acts.

Christylez and Wytold: Classical Hip Hop

1:15-2:00pm | Remixing the Classics, this program merges the contrasting worlds of Classical and Hip-Hop music in a collaborative musical program featuring GRAMMY nominated Progressive Hip-Hop artist Christylez Bacon (pronounced: chris-styles) and six-string electric cellist, Wytold (William Wytold Lebing). Bacon and Wytold blend beat-boxing, rap and other hip-hop elements with classical composers like Bach and Pachelbel and dance and music from around the world.

Illstyle Peace & Productions: Hip Hop Dance

2:15-3:00pm | Brandon “Peace” Albright founded Illstyle & Peace Productions in 2002. Illstyle & Peace Productions is a multicultural, mixed-gender dance company whose work focuses on the movement and spirit of Hip Hop. The company delivers a positive message of individual expression through interactive participation and a comprehensive demonstration of hip-hop art, culture and dance moves.
