 Café Teva at the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC
Fresh ideas and ingredients and a novel menu and taste await you at the new Café Teva restaurant in the Owings Mills JCC. It is owned and operated by business partners Don Tkatch and Micha Dahan of Catering by Weiss.
Mr. Tkatch says, "Teva is the Hebrew word for 'nature' and we hope this will remind our patrons that we strive to use the freshest ingredients and minimize waste by using biodegradable utensils wherever possible. We also offer people the option of dining close to nature, outdoors either on our patio or at a picnic by the pool."
Café Teva's extensive menu includes both meat and dairy offerings. From salads and roasted vegetable paninis to macaroni & cheese or hamburgers & fries, the selection ranges from contemporary to traditional.
Early morning gym goers can pick up "grab and go" foods like fruit salads, sandwiches,coffees, cappuccino and espresso as well as pastries and naturally sweetened protein drinks. By midday the meat kitchen is also open and features kebobs, schwarma and American grill items like hambergers, hot dogs and chicken.
Cafe Teva is under the kashrut supervision of Rabbi Shalom Salfer.
Teva Poolside

Servicing the Shapiro Rec Park, Teva poolside is an awning covered kiosk window that carries a limited menu of summer quick bites like pizza, snowballs, drinks and soft-serve ice cream.
No more missing a ray of sun! As a special new luxury, on Sundays, Teva Poolside offers waiter service so that members can order from the full Café Teva menu and have it served directly to their chaise lounge (with an appropriate gratuity, of course).
