The College Center 
The College Center at the JCC, located in the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC, offers a full complement of services that will help in the college preparation and application process. Our seminars are designed for high school students and their parents, and it is never too early to learn about the process.
The College Center offers seminars on such topics as Admissions Expectations, Financial Aid/Scholarships & Financial Planning, Essay Writing & College Applications, and Campus Resources. For families who want more individual assistance, appointments can be made for one-on-one consulting.
Services at the College Center include SAT, PSAT, and ACT test preparation, College Fairs, College Caravans, College Admissions Assessments, and Volunteer Opportunities.

The 2010 JCC College Fair

This well-established, interactive college fair offers an opportunity to reach hundreds of high school students from all over Baltimore and the surrounding counties.
This past year, more than 650 people attended our Fair. We had close to 70 colleges and universities from across the United States participate in this event. Free and open to the public!

SAT and ACT Prep
Prepare for the SAT and/or the ACT with the OmniTest one-on-one customized tutoring that is tailored to your son or daughter’s schedule. You can use these sessions for both winter and spring tests during junior and senior year. Each package includes a diagnostic test for both exams and unlimited practice tests.
Fee:$1,175 for eight two-hour sessions
$1,650 for 12 two-hour tutoring sessions

Full Diagnostic College Admissions Assessment
This unique opportunity offered exclusively through JCC's College Center provides high school students the information and direction they need to become leading applicants for undergraduate admission at a select group of colleges where they can reach their academic and personal goals.
Make an appointment to discuss the overly stressful college process and learn what you can be doing at the beginning of high school to prepare and organize yourself so that you will be ready when the application process starts. Together, we'll explore what options are available to you and how to present yourself in the best light.
Learn about summer programs, internships, volunteer experiences, and activities that can help round out your college application.
Student and parent(s) meet privately with a professional college admissions consultant focused on finding the colleges that are right for them! After a thorough review of student's interests, academic record, extracurricular involvement, and standardized test scores, our expert will make recommendations regarding the type of colleges the student should target for admission. Our college admissions expert will also create a customized "short list" of several colleges that deserve particular attention. This is a great way for students and their families to refine their college admissions game plan and have their questions about the increasingly competitive and complicated college admissions process answered.
College Application and Resume Support
We'll help you fill out your college applications and create your resume of activities. We'll can also critique your college admissions essay. In our Summer and Fall workshops you'll learn tips and tricks on important items to include and how to organize all the information.
